BlackEyeBean Curry
Blackeye Bean – 1 cup
Onions – 2
Tomatoes – 1
Green chillies – 2
Ginger – small piece
Badam – 5 nos
Oil/ghee – 2 tsp
Masala pdr – 1 tsp
Method
- Soak the beans for 2-3 hrs and pressure cook it adding salt. Drain the water.
- Cut the onions and fry in 1 tsp oil. Grind it with badam tomatoes,green chillies,ginger and masala pdr.
- Cook this mixture till the raw smell of the tomatoes goes away. Add little water if it is becoming too thick.
- Add the cooked beans and cook for another 5-7 mnts. Add salt if necessary.
Eat with hot chappathis.
